Reflections by Pank / Snapshot No. 620: The Primacy of Facts: Sensory Grounding and the Deconstruction of Narrative Loops

Our professional role is to guide our consultants in transforming their narratives and the way they frame their experiences, in order to extract them from states that, much like trances, isolate them from their surroundings. This involuntary hyper-focus on internal cognitive and somatic processes causes significant suffering, characterized by the feeling of being trapped in an infinite loop.

While narratives are indeed a source of suffering, it is often the recall of facts—specifically their temporality and their « reality » in the here and now—that opens pathways for resolution. Facts are no longer stories; they are tangible, impacting both body and mind in the present moment.

The ability to focus on the fact relegates internal cognitive processes to the background. It is the realization of the concrete instant, rather than imagination, that provides the resources to modify « storytellings » and gradually derail that which no longer serves.

The hallucination then becomes clouded, as if emerging from a somnambulistic trance, and the conscious mind moves in symbiosis with the subconscious toward a different perception of what is or has been.

Take what is good and right for you. Be One, Pank. https://www.pank.one/blog
